A Commitment to Lighthouse Education

As one of best preserved and authentic light stations in the country, the Ponce De Leon Leon Inlet Lighthouse Preservation Association is dedicated to preservation and dissemination of the maritime and social history of this important National Historic Landmark.
In pursuance with this goal, the Lighthouse and Museum
offers a wide-range of educational programs to local school groups free of charge. Developed by teachers and school administrators, these important programs include a multitude of interactive workshops, activities, and presentations designed for children of all ages and abilities.

Often developed in cooperation with Volusia County School District teachers, subject area specialists, and administrators, the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse strives to meet the ongoing needs of local teachers and students whenever possible.

We encourage all teachers to explore all of the Association's educational offerings by following the navigational tabs at the top of this page.
